The Overt Pistol Course is designed to enhance the fundamentals of gun fighting with a pistol at close distances in self-defense or protecting someone else. The course is designed for you to move dynamically while engaging threats, safe your location/break contact, and implement stress to evaluate your ability to navigate through active threat environments. Students will shoot while moving cover to cover exploiting the threat. 

 THE COURSE WILL COVER THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS:

·      Skills Check.

·      Firing from Cover.

·      Bounding Movements.

·      Shoot No Shoot.

·      Multiple Target Engagement.

·      Reactive Target Engagement.

·      Threat/Hostage Shoot.

·    Target Focus/Sight Focus

·      Stress Shooting.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:

·      Eye protection.

·      Ear protection.

·      Pistol w/3 magazines.

·      On the waistband holster. Level 1 is ok; Level 2 is preferred.

·      Two magazine carriers minimum for pistol.

·      400 rounds minimum Pistol.

·      Dress appropriately for the weather.

·      Proper Clothing/Rain gear for the elements, you will be prone at times. 

NOTES:

·      Please bring your own drinks and snacks.

·      Swag, kit, tourniquets, body armor, carbine accessories, mag carriers/holsters will be available for purchase on site, please bring Cash/Check/Venmo/Zelle/ Paypal.
