This course is designed to enhance your fundamentals of carbine use. Those looking for a better overall understanding of basic function, marksmanship, and troubleshooting malfunctions should attend. The course is designed for those with minimal carbine experience and is offered as a primer to other carbine course offerings to develop familiarization and new skills.  It is also a good refresher for those looking at a new approach to fundamental training. This is not an introductory course. If you have no understanding of an AR-15 or a variant, you will need to take the Intro to Carbine Course first. 

THE COURSE WILL COVER THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS: 

 Firearm safety and handling.

Understanding the platform and optimizing it for your needs.

 Shooting fundamentals.

Understanding Zero, shooting out to 300 meters.

Loading, Reloading.

Malfunction clearing.

Positional Shooting.

Ballistics.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:

·       Eye protection

·       Ear protection

·       Carbine (AR-15 14.5-inch barrel or above) iron sights, or both.

·       Three 30 Round Magazines

·       A sling and two magazine carriers on a belt or chest rig

·       Two magazine carrier’s minimum

·       300 rounds minimum (No Green Tip)

Proper Clothing/Rain gear for the elements, you will be prone at times 

NOTES:

Please bring your own drinks and snacks.

Swag, kit, tourniquets, body armor, carbine accessories, mag carriers/holsters will be available for purchase on site, please bring Cash/Check/Venmo/Zelle/ Paypal.
